YCF is an independent church that has it's focus on the community in which God has called us to. We are Yrekans serving God in Yreka, much like the men and women Nehemiah surrounded himself with as they rebuilt the wall around Jerusalem. We enjoy wonderful worship as we meet together our services include both modern and traditional hymns. Pastor Dan's preaching style is easy, conversational, and expository.
One of our unique features is that we are a holistic ministry centered first on Christ and then on the family. What that means is that we try very hard not to segregate our families. It seems today there are too many things trying to tear the family apart including the church. We desire to see families worship together, pray together, and spend valuable time together. Yeah you might hear a baby crying, or a see a fidgety toddler, but you won't be able to miss the point that families come first at YCF.
It's true, we are not a church for everyone. We're not big, you won't be able to hide, you'll be love, and nurtured, and encouraged. If that's what is missing your life then YCF is the church for you.
